Welcome to the Cyclists of Quail Creek

If you are a Quail Creek owner or renter and ride a bicycle, tandem, recumbent, trike, quad or any other human powered vehicle, you are welcome to join the Cyclists of Quail Creek on any of our rides.
We are a relatively new club in Quail Creek and still in our startup phase. We have been doing weekly rides from the Madera Clubhouse since December. We are an approved Quail Creek Club and we're listed on the Quail Creek HOA's Activities web page.
We currently don't have officers or collect dues but we have held a few meetings. We are currently offering three or more rides a week of different levels from casual to fitness at varying distances. We have traveled to Tucson for rides on the Pima County Chuck Huckelberry Loop Trail.
Posted on Feb 5 a letter from Chuck Huckelberry regarding a connection to The Loop from Sahuarita at Pime Mine Road.

If you are interested in joining our email list contact Bob.

June 24th Town Council Meeting - Bob Webster of Rancho Sahuarita will be speaking at next week's council meeting regarding cycling and safety concerns with the width of Phase 1 and planning for Phase 2 of the Quail Crossing Blvd connection to Duval Mine Road. The council meeting is on Monday, June 24 at 6:30  p.m. in Council Chambers at 375 W. Sahuarita Center Way in Sahuarita. Council Meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays at 6:30 p.m. and they are open to the public. If you decide attend this meeting and request to speak, please be respectfully. Wider roads with designed shoulders which are often referred to as bike lanes are safer for all users not just bikes. Shoulders provided safe pull off lanes for brake downs, stopping to take a phone call, safe space to pullover for emergence vehicles and safer lanes for street legal golf carts. Wider road with shoulders are safer roads. Narrow roads such as Phase 1 of the Quail Crossing extension has very dangerous drop off shoulders.
